JMM. The uppercut combinations he was starting from about halfway across the ring against Jandaeng were amazing. One of my favorites to watch from JMM.
I love the way Jones threw and uppercut. He would almost make you walk into it the by the way his feet were in a position that made you think he was farther away than he was. I dont think there has been another fighter in history that knew his range as well as Jones. Ali maybe.
first off [yt]dZlBLQHT8mM[/yt] 1-2-5 [yt]rNo8nXD3xoc[/yt] ignore the blatant advertising [yt]O279OFjtK9k[/yt] after the left hook to the body then the left uppercut is a great combination. unorthodox but not awkward to do
TYSON!!! Usually thrown following a body shot, then up with an uppercut. Most devastating and beautifully executed uppercut in boxing history.
I think you might have your answer after 36 seconds of this video. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xUJn_uEnxk[/ame]
Roy Jones Junior, Prince Naseem Hamed(he used his left as a lefty to leap with it like he's throwing a shoryuken or something) Didn't Marciano jump in with uppercuts too? There's a fight pic versus Joe Louis where he tagged Joe with a right uppercut that by the looks of it he had leap at Joe with) Sometimes Zab Judah does it because of his crazy athleticism. JMM, Margarito, Devon Alexander and Tim Coleman(his KO on Showtime might be KO of the year)
I apologize for neglecting to mention Tyson. Lennox Lewis also had a nasty inside uppercut. Toney was a master of any punch including his slashing uppercuts. Razor Ruddock's famed smash was, well, smashing to say the least. Rafael Marquez knocked a guy cold(Guty Espadas Jr I believe) with a single uppercut counter after Espadas attacked Marquez's midsection. Before he could realize he stayed in there to long he was out.
