Maybe not an ATG fight, but Conteh / Aumada was a fascinating battle, it pitted the smooth boxing hard punching brit, against a rugged tough rock jawed Agentiain , could well have be Conteh,s finest hour, he boxed like a dream, moving in and out, throwing hard accurate combinations, of which the dour implacable south american took with relish, Conteh took hard thudding shots to head and body, raising vivid welts to his midsection, the fight ebbed and flowed, first one , then the other getting on top, no quarter asked or given, two iron willed gladiators at the peak of their powers, fighting as if their whole being was being tested, this Conteh pre the nightlife and bright candles was a fantastic fighter, had he kept his council with the tried and tested Francis and not gone off to the states, he would , I believe been a great champion, not just a very good one, he was a brit who fought like a yank, and fought well.
