I just watched his fight against Corley. Damn, what a fight. I noticed that he has been in many exciting fights too. 2014 FOTY against John Molina Jr. followed by other several bouts with Danny Garcia, Ruslan Provodnikov, Ajose Olusegun & Humberto Soto. I've never seen his fight against Judah and Postol yet, were they great bouts? If it is, I would love to watch them. Tell me if he had more interesting fights too.

The Judah fight he fought well. The Postol fight he did not. His prime probably ended with the Garcia fight, although he fought rather well with a damaged hand against Provodnikov in a fight I was fortunate to attend.

@OP_TheJawBreaker, I just watched the Corley fight - it was a bit of a beatdown, really.

It’s debatable whether Corley won a round (I had him edging the opener) and he spent much of the fight on the floor from nasty body shots. The ref gave him every chance to continue (probably too many chances - no way he lets it go on if those were head shots putting him down). So it was a fine performance from Matthysse but pretty much one-way traffic.

I’ll be checking out his fight with Molina next - got high hopes for that one.

It was still entertaining despite being a literal beatdown after the first knockdown. How many was Corley dropped? 9 times if I'm correct.

Oh yeah, there were lots of KDs, was just expecting a bit more of a two-way battle. But, you know, I enjoyed it nonetheless.
