Everett "Bigfoot" Martin vs Mike Jameson.

I think this one should be on pay per view.

Not if Sanderline Williams and Jorge Amparo have anything to say about it.

In fairness, Williams and Amparo were actually pretty solid fringe contenders.

    Martin and Jameson were............well, heavyweights.

All pale next to one that wasn't even a fantasy match up; it actually happened and some of us were lucky enough to see the alchemy of styles that was James Warring vs Johnny Nelson. In the blue riband cruiserweight division to boot. That match up had the lot.

Indeed.. We actually DID have a real heavyweight fight that was worse than this match, and its was Mike Hunter vs Ossie Ocasio back in the early 90's.

Ossie Ocasio was just painful to watch. Utterly painful.

Agreed. I saw him fight Tyrell Biggs in 1990, and that was like watching a pillow fight between sorority sisters - minus of course the aesthetically pleasing eye candy.

but at least it would have had some significance.

Yeah, it would not have been exciting, though.

Prime Tony Tubbs v. Prime Jimmy Young.

maybe 20 total punches would be landed.

They did actually fight. Hopefully, there is no video of it.
