I was just wondering what type of meal would be the best after a long run? mainly protien or mainly carbs etc. I know after people do weights its recommended to have a 2:1 carbs to protien meal but what about after a run?

To be honest recovery from weight training especially for someone who does boxing or other endurance sports would not be awful. You don't NEED a **** ton of food or carbs unless you want to get bigger or you are a big guy and need more to maintain. For you, eat plenty, and lots of good protein and good carbs, and things will fall into space. More if you want to gain weight, less to maintain.
