    A friend and were debating this last night, his fighter: RUBEN OLIVARES. Mine: JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ

    ruben olivares really has a strong claim. his record from 1965 to 1970 was absolutely sensational. he destroyed everything in sight. i still have to go with jcc based on his longer undefeaTED run

    I think Salvador Sanchez was the best Mexican fighter/boxer of all time. Despite his abbreviated career, he fought and beat everyone available except Pedroza (and WBA/WBC politics was impossible during that time). He could fight coming forward, he could counterpunch, he could hit, he could take a hit. His stamina seemed endless. I believe he could've landed in the ATG top 10 if he'd have been able to finish his career.
