Best Middleweight Era?

    What is considered the best era for the middleweight division? I am guessing when Ray Robinson ruled the roost

    Post WWI to Robinson's post WWII era was routinely absolutely loaded. Even the periods regarded as down periods at the time were stacked in hindsight.

    That makes sense given how many people were middleweight sized around then and how popular boxing participation was.

    Post-Hagler and Pre-Hopkins was hideous.

    There's 40 guys who'd mostly school and beat GGG, all boxing at the same time once upon a time.
