I am extremely excited about the future of 160lbs. This is what it's going to look like in say, 2 years, at the top level: Derevyanchenko, Khytrov, Canelo, Golub, Golovkin, Murata, Fowler, Quigley, Korobov, Castano, Gilberto Ramirez
Fowler will be in rio in two years and Castaneda is more of a welter light middle and his half pro half amatuer Hopefully Lubin is in the mix two or else the division will be classed as weak lmfao
Lublin last fight was at Jr middle but given he is 18 he will pro ally grow into middle, year the sad truth u need at least an american to be considered deep
Quigley Murata Tony Harrison Saunders Canelo is as young if not younger than many of these prospects and will be fighting at MW pretty soon Khyrtov looked unimpressive in his last fight, looked very east to hit.Maybe it was an off nigh
Still pretty young. Suffered a lot with injuries between 18-20. Supposedly going pro this year. Lot of people speak pretty highly of him. Been training under Jeff Mayweather since he was 9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga458yJKJqU
Tbh mate I prefer to see my amateurs tun pro with some sort of accomplishments and a international or two ,until then there just hype until they do something for someone to call him the best prospect at 160 is idiotic It's like Romeo or Eubanks jr , it's all they done well in sparring and people say good things about but until they actually prov they have potential in the ring it means very little
