Plenty of top class pros never do anything at amateur.

Im just saying a lot of people in the know who've seen him spar say hes very talented.

Until any of these guys do well as pros, we dont really know if they're the real deal.

Too many amateur stars have flopped, and too many non-descipt amateurs have become stars for me to simply go on amateur titles.

Good amateur career shows you have talent. Like any sport, theres countless super 18 year old soccer players who were supposed to be world beaters who never made it, and plenty of guys who went under the radar who did.

Just have to wait and see.

Yes but people in the know aren't exactly independent all of the time

If you had the opportunity to give a mate a head start by say putting in a word for him or or given or of your friends sons a job before a randomed your going to do it ,it's the same with praise for gym work

Yes amateurs flop , but at least they have some reason to get excited about them

There is also probebly a higher percentage of guys that go pro who we never heard of that flop

It's like if your getting set up with a bird and your mate tells you she's amazing, well it doesn't matter a **** until you actually see her and she's the business

Calab Plant, He is from my home town, just turned pro this year.

Although he is a Middleweight now, so here in a bit I would expect him to be a SuperMiddle.

My main sparring partner went to the same gym as Plant for years, he says he is FAST and tricky. I've never had the chance to spar him myself, so I couldnt tell you from first hand experience.

Some guys I work with knew him on a REAL personal level growing up, said something about the US team being really political to try to get on.

Based on what big man. You've got alot to say, some of it are valid points. A prospect to me is somebody who could POTENTIALLY go on to be decent boxers who might win a belt. I think Eubank Jr falls into this category. He hasn't faced anywhere near the type of opposition which would push him from prospect to contender but he has the POTENTIAL.

No amatuer background to base his talents on and he hasn't looked good against hobos, only reason he started getting hyped is when friends of his father started saying he was good and doing well in sparring , has proved nothing so far and is impossible to judge his potential

Maybe someday he will be fit to lick there boots
