I watched Pride 10 the other day and its hard to think of much better some cracking fights in there. What's your favorite cards to watch and why :think
Wec 48 came very, very close to being a perfect 10/10 card. If Aldo had finished Faber, or if it were a more competitive fight, it would have been perfect.
Did you expect any different??? And your lucky Aldo showed mercy on the kid in front of his fans, because he was wounded prey and Aldo didn't eat him up out of pity....that much was obvioius! :deal
I agree. I thought the last few UFCs were stellar! They were great events filled with great fights all the way through. Other recent cards I've enjoyed were Fedor/Werdum and Shields/Henderson. I thought all of the early UFCs were great - at least up through number eight. Other classic events include World Combat Championships when Renzo Gracie won the tournament and Extreme Fighting Championship 3 featuring the classic Paulson/Hume match and Maurice Smith KOing COnan Silveria. Pride 10 was a great event with several classic fights and KOs on it. Pride 19 was stacked with nice fights including the classic Newton/Pele match. There are just too many great events to name. Pretty much every Total Elimination or Final Conflict was great.
I was hoping Faber would of at least made it competitive. Instead he got his legs beat into dust and was somehow walking in the last 2. At least its pushing Urijah down to bantamweight. I can't see anyone beating Aldo at the minute.
