What is the best MMA podcast out there? Not sure if this should count, but the Vale Tudo Hour should be up there? This Brian Ortega interview is hilarious. This content is protected
The Fighter and The Kid WAS the best several years ago. I was actually a big fan, but it took a big hit when Schaub decided to be a comedian. Not hating on the guy, especially since he's successful at it, but his ego got way out of control. And now Callen is apparently too busy being an actor to regularly be in studio. I'm expected the brand to fracture in the future, with Callen downgraded to some kind of occasional 'Guest of Honor' role. Its a shame. I started listening to the JRE in mid-2012 and Bryan Callen is one of my top favorite recurring guests on the show. Some of his appearances on the JRE, particularly in 2012/2013/2014 were some of the best episodes ever, both informative and hilarious. Then he started letting Schaub tag along and Schaub took over MMA media like some runaway staph infection. Bisping's podcast, Believe You Me, is my favorite hands down. Bisping is really funny, and he has a good dynamic with his host, who is also fun to listen to. Bisping isn't a know it all and he doesn't pull rank like Schaub. Josh Thompson's is okay, since Josh is a good talker, but he needs a better cohost or no co-host at all with rotating guests.
