    I got a lot of respect for the guy as a fighter.

    but a lot of his persona is also funny to me. He reminds me of the Soviet villians in the action movies I watched growing up.

    Yeah a mere con is theperfect mock nickname, plays on the name and has real sentiments towards the actual fighter
