Yeah, that was on the short term. When he KO'es Rubio, you might say he still doesn't qualify. But when he drops a MW champ late '11 / early '12, you'll give him the nod. :smoke
Actually he was already lifted off the canvas before the punch landed, the punch itself just stunned him.
We can't say much about Lemieux yet, if you recall Cintron was knocking fools out with ease, then he stepped up and the power didn't seem to be there anymore.
Agreed. However, a ripped Cintron was doing it at high 140's where as Lemieux looks nothing special at 160 considering his thick bone structure. He's 21... he might develop even more of an above average manstrength by the time he's 26. Then we can see if the power is still there... I say the symptoms are encouraging to say the least. :yep
It took three pages, but I thought I was going to have to be the first to say Randall Bailey. I can think of no one with better one-punch power currently active. Lemiuex is going to have to fight a live body before I start giving him that kind of due.
He will, give him a year or two... Bailey fought a 4-21-2 guy in his 24th fight. Just noticed a difference between [Bailey and its 70" reach vs all WW's] and [Lemieux and his 64" reach vs all MW's]. Strange, makes David look like Tyson in a way... Lemieux-Raines = Tyson-Spinks at a much less important level
