Personally, I can't get past The Dark Destroyer. That was actually a golden era for nicknames. The Hitman and The Bodysnatcher aren't half bad either.

    Your picks?

Bonecrusher is a pretty chilling one. Bad Cow Muran? Priceless.

Oh, Hands of Stone is a classic as well.

You young posters on board should try to find Ray "Windmill" White, a MW/LH that fought I think from the mid-late sixties until the late 70's if memory serves correct. Out of the state of Washington I think. Never got to elite level but got to fight a few top contenders in his day. What an entertaining treat it was to watch this guy fight! He really wasn't a 'dirty' fighter; the 'Windmill' nickname came from when, he was in a clinch with his opponent's head under his armpit, he would land 5-6 backwards punches with his other hand to the head before the ref could separate them. :) Plus, he did the old "oh I'm hurt" thing after taking a shot only to wobble his opponent moving in for an expected kill, long before Ali did. You're the computer guys, look him up; hopefully they'll be some stories about him out there.
