I agree with Mante' about Moore. Weir was a massive puncher and Moore went over to South Africa and battered him.

I guess we disagree on Zarate. I think he's a wee beastie. A patient hard hitter that was indefatigable.

It probably didn't hurt Zamora any more than his wild hooks to the back of Zarates head. That was not a great division but it had some decent fighters and Zarate rode roughshod over his competition.

Have to give a shout out to one of the truly amazing offensive fighters Wilfredo Gomez!!
Also Salvador Sanchez was brilliant, the way he would bounce in and out of punching range while unleashing hard combo was amazing to me. He is like the master to the current style that alot of Olympic boxers TRY to implement.

Hearns my favorite was one of the best guys from the outside. He used to pick guys apart with the jab and soften them up for the right. One of the all time greats. Had he been a little more patient in his career and not always go for the knockout, I think he would have been top 10 ATG.

I'm surprised he hasnt got a mention so far but Holyfield (especially in his cruiser & early HW career) deserves one.

In terms of all round offence he had the lot imo. Speed, power in both hands, fluid combinations, workrate, stamina & aggression. He may not have been truly exceptional in any one area & he wasnt greatest defensively but as an all round attacking force Holyfield was tremendous.

Felix Trinidad. A good jab, straight right hand and a brilliant left hook. Was a great finisher aswell.
