There are probably thirty or forty fighters one could make a case for. Duran, for example. It is just a question of which ones impressed me most in some facet of offense.
I remember him doing that against Tapia at the end of their fight, jumping in and out just throwing plenty of fast landing leather from all distances and ranges. Quality even though Tapia was past it.
Greg you've been spelling everything wrong constantly and i haven't pulled you little ****! haha, sorry.
definitly but i agree with all your picks. how baout a fighter like Harade or Chang do you rate them as high?
Not the best ever, but one more recent is Miguel Cotto.. Can throw every punch in the book, punches from different angles, never loses balance, good short combinations, and moves while punching quite well.
I'm working on a highlight displaying the awesome combination punching of Marco Antonio Barrera as we speak. He didn't just display it against Tapia, C level fighters, and hasbeens like Tapia, he terrorized Hamed with his accurate counter punching, and then shown a completely different variation to his offense by doing it on the frontfront against Morales. He was simply awesome offensively. The video will speak for itself. Keep your eye out. :good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6nLltSbAf8 Barrera steps to the side to avoid the left hand, returns with right cross, left uppercut, jab, straight right, and left uppercut. He finishes with a shot to the liver and the fight is over. First time Ayala was ever stopped, and yes, all of the punches landed. This was Marco past his physical peak.
