    He broke his right hand early in the fight,suffered with hand problems all career. But he still beat a terrific fighter with one hand. I saw Conteh box live a couple of times,and also a lot on TV,and he had a decent right hand. Certainly not as sparing with it as Henry Cooper,who was naturally left handed. Not sure whether John was or wasn't.
    The one who came to mind for me was Howard Winstone. Lost the tops of his fingers,right hand,in a work accident. So I think we can excuse him a little. Master boxer,Welsh wizard,but still used his right hand when he had anybody remotely in trouble. Classed as a light hitter but still stopped a few people.
    I think there in those 2 you've got 2 of my absolute all time favourites.

    Quartey was a good one. He had a thunderous jab and hook, and his right cross looked like a rusty gate.

    I wouldn't say De La Hoya was one handed. His cross stopped a few guys.

    Ernie had that jab BUT...a stiff right that could 'ice' anyone but the top flight boys if he landed.

    Cooper came to mind; a converted southpaw who's right was less than, shall we say, overpowering.
    Interesting that, with the 10 point 'must', he was ahead on points when Ali stopped him in the 5th in the June 63 s****.
    Won the 1st with his aggressive attack, bloodying Clay's nose and putting him on his heels.
    2nd and 3rd were Clay's and 'enry dumped him in the 4th.

    Don't forget Mason 'the line' Dixon. He took some brutal shots from the Italian stallion for 10 rounds and still came out on top, despite breaking his hand in the second round
