Valuev - he was very very big. That was all he had, zilch else. I'd like to say Wilder, cos i don't like him, but in addition to his right hand he does have speed - so he's not one dimensional just a poor boxer.
To me Wilder has great stamina, power that he carries with him the whole fight, and quick feet for a heavyweight that he uses to create angles that his opponents have seldom seen. Wilder hasn't been boxing his whole life so he isn't like Lomachenko, FMJ, Chris Byrd, Tyson Fury, etc., but he does have natural fighting instincts and physical ability, and confidence that make up for whatever he might be lacking. He isn't unbeatable in today's heavyweight division but he is going to be tough to beat.
Must be Wlad, he had the most basic game plan but carried it out to perfection. Jab jab jab, right hand, hold. He pulled it off because he usually had a huge size advantage.
Wlad might be a 'sjw' passive aggressive chest-shaving weirdo, but you can't call him truly one dimensional. He had super jab, a devastating right and a devastating left hook. He was technically schooled, fast for his size, strong, good defensively and smart. The fact he liked to grope sweaty men as much as possible does not mean he was technically one dimensional, it was just a lifestyle choice. Everyone knows who the winner is, but basing everything on that right hand is so effective it almost becomes impressive how he gets away with it. Obviously he has other attributes, but he really does rely on pretty much one thing.
Admittedly I’ve not seen all his fights but I just remember him always coming forward throwing punch after punch after punch. One dimensional in the sense that he’s a volume puncher, Like someone said it’s hard to think of champions, if you want to go with a no name fighter how about Wayne McCullough the pocket rocket
Excellent footwork ATG ring IQ Incredible strength and power Good defence Definitely not one dimensional
His ring IQ was average. No plan B. Pre-programmed to fight the same way over and over. Lacked creativity and adaptability. He was far more One -dimensional than multi- dimensional.
Coz it worked, Sanders represents stylistical poison for Wlad and his other loses came from a lack of experience against Purity and a massive what the **** moment against Brewster He was an incredible ring general (part of being ring IQ) any one who denies Wlad's ability to dominate an opponent is either deluded or has a serious agenda
