You're right, and I wasn't trying to downplay the power Wlad has. It's just to me when you think about the type of fighter that makes you think one punch power, Wlad doesn't come up because of his style. Exactly, while Wlad most likely had the power to drop him in the first quarter of the fight he's very conservative w/ his power. Just something to consider and that doesn't mean he can't hit like a truck.
Rafael Marquez can knock you out with either hand, just been in there with a guy with a granite chin for the last 3 years.
Ye but: 1. We are talking about p4p punching power alone. Not skill to mix in with it so he can actually catch the real good fighters. 2. Bum's also have good chins. Many of them have better chins than elite fighters. I often see the assumption bums dont have good chins, or at least many people write in a way that I can interpret this from their comment.
I think when you consider how stingy Wlad and Abraham are with their punches, it speaks even more about their power than the actual knockout ratio. And I've seen both guys spark an opponent with either hand. Very dangerous, one-punch power in either hand.
The guy used to bowl people over for fun. Abraham would be my pick but Randall Bailey deserves a shout
AA. I believe he got punching power two classes above his own weight! And that means alot in the divisions above middleweight!
