He did land a good shot here and there, but never really came close to winning any rounds, did he? For every shot he landed, Moorer landed three. He was winning every round definitively, these were not contested. Moorer got lackadaisical in there with one of the biggest punchers of all time, and paid the price for it. The fact Foreman split his mouthpiece in half with a rather innocuous looking punch shows his brute power.

I never scored it but I'm guessing my card would've been on line with the 2 judges who had it 88-83. Foreman did land some heavy shots in the fight and seemed to stun him earlier, I probably would give at least one round to foreman.

Duane Ford having it 86-85 was a head-scratcher.

Moorer's lips were all ****ed up. Foreman was definitely one brute, heavy handed puncher.

Foreman seemed full of **** when he claimed it all went according to plan, but there was some truth to the fact that he was landing right hands throughout the fight.

Moorer was in complete control of that fight, despite fooling around. By the later rounds, he was taunting Foreman, being a total clown in the ring. When he was boxing, he was easily beating Foreman to the punch with his hand speed, and outdoing Foreman, who had a much slower work rate at his age. The difference was Foreman knew how to conserve energy, he knew his best chance for a knockout would come late, and he snatched the opportunity. He says he was waiting for it, and I believe him, I don't think Foreman ever saw himself beating the much younger, faster Moorer on points. Moorer absolutely dominated the fight, but George stayed patient, and took full advantage when the opportunity presented itself.

Yeah, Foreman's power was incredible dude. You look at the punch and think "how could that knock anyone out?" and then you see Moorer's mouth piece split in half, and his lip cracked right down the middle. I'm a huge Ali fan, made me respect him even more for the fact he laid on the ropes for 8 rounds against a prime Foreman whaling away on him like that, just imagine how that felt.

    It is Hearns vs Duran.

When you consider Duran's place in history, his P4P status and what Duran was able to achieve after the Hearns fight.

No one else was ever able to KO Duran not even when he was fifty years old.

Did you know, that when Duran returned to Panama following his defeat to Hearns the Panamanian government locked him up in prison?
