    Buchanan was ROBBED - it wasnt one-sided.

    alright, maybe it wasn't one-sided but how was Buchanan robbed? He was stopped by Duran!

    With a low blow. Although Buchanan would have lost anyway, so he wasn't robbed in that sense.

    that was infighting? im looking for fights where the majority of the fight was an infight. not little moments here and there.

    And that was closer to child abuse than a boxing match. i called the authorities.

    A better example would be Duran vs Palomino in my opinion.

    Great infighter/body puncher. Just got outdone by Duran in every aspect.

    true, i forgot about the low blow. but he was recieving a thorough beating anyways.

    I was ringside, T. A low blow's a foul. Surprised Duran didn't castrate a Chilean miner with that shot.

    I think Frazier's first fight with Jerry Quarry qualifies here. Ring's 1969 FOTY was really competitive for only the first couple of rounds, and JQ only took the opening stanza cleanly. Even if Jerry had somehow finished that match unmarked, he was winding down precipitously as it progressed, and over half the scheduled rounds were remaining when it was stopped. Jerry would have never made it after that torrid 93 punch pace he set in round one. Joe was much more relaxed and measured in his systematic breakdown. Still, only Jerry could have even attempted to compete with him on the inside like that during this particular era.
