Ike Williams-Beau Jack 1948. In the 6th (and final) round, Ike butchers Jack so badly with an endless barrage of blows. That ref was as inept as the one for Duran-Moore for letting it go on as long as he did. Ike might've killed him otherwise.
I haven't always been the biggest JCC fan, but that may be changing, somewhat "after the fact", lol...that fight with Rosario has me fascinated...I enjoy seeing how Chavez just completely dominated Edwin and imposed his will on him.
GREAT thread as for the question, chavez would likely be in the top 5, maybe number 1 for infighting another more recent example was hopkins butchering joppy on the inside for 12 rounds if it hasn't been said, frazier nearly killing my boy chuvalo
I know some people find it boring but to me Hopkins absolutly tearing William Joppy to peices was a amazing piece of inside boxing. Used evrey part of his body to his advantage.
