Not too much money with Cintron but since its the day before the PR parade why not. First Cintron then Berto, Clottey and last a Mosley rematch
Cotto's handspeed gets overrated on this forum. Cotto is very accurate and has excellent timing. However, he does not have great handspeeed.
Then Mosley must be lying when he said he was surprised at Cotto's handspeed. Wait until I get a hold of him.:bbb
So Mosley saying he was surprised by Cotto's handspeed means that Cotto has great handspeed? Cintron said he was surprised by Margo's defense. Is Margo an elite defensive fighter?
Cotto has prety quick hands, not lightning fast, but definitely quicker than Clottey who has only about average hand speed at best.
Arum is crazy and so are a lot of fans... Either way, I think it's a horrible idea. Like I said if it was the same scenario with Kirkland being a welterweight then I'd be ok with it, but why mess around with a hungry young strong fighter who's actually bigger than you and doesn't really bring anything to the table legacy wise yet? I don't know why Arum would bring him up(unless o course he was full of ****), and the fans that think Cotto can beat Kirkland have a lot of faith on him, not that he can't, but I wouldn't put my money on it.
If you say so man, I'm not impressed by his speed at all... but one thing you'll never get me to agree to is saying that he's faster than Cotto. :verysad Maybe in foot speed, but defintely not hand speed.
Watch some more Clottey fights. You can't land that double left hook like he constantly does unless you have good handspeed.
 Those are slapping arm punches son. Anyone can look fast throwing a flimsy punch like that. Cotto turns that punch over the way you're supposed to and still looks quicker than Clottey.
Watch the Judah and Corrales fights. Watch him land those punches, watch their reactions, and look at their faces at the end of the fight. This is a useless argument anyway. I just hope Cotto stops hiding behind his promoter and this fight gets made.
