I almost forgot about that. Jennings does moonlight as a drummer. That fight was a complete farce. If I were Cotto, I'd be ashamed to wear that worthless trinket. He needs to push for a unification bout quick so that he can be a legit champion.

Why should Cotto feel ashamed? If I'm not mistaken he wanted to fight a bigger name but Arum gave him an ultimatum of fighting Jennings or remaining idle until June.

No he didn't. He was debating on not fighting at all.

At least Berto is a legit championship caliber fighter. If Cotto won that fight, people would respect that win. He would be able to proudly call himself a champion. I don't know how you could be proud to call yourself champ if you got it by beating drummer for a vacant WBO strap, after you ignored the challenge from the real champ who vacated that belt.

LoL. Yes, he's a part time boxer/drummer and on top of that, he was the 42nd best WW.

He should feel ashamed because right now he is wearing a garbage belt. Cotto will be a free agent at the end of the year. He had enough leverage to get a different fight.

This last PPV was a steel, but you know very well that's not the case in all of his fights, besides, It doesn't really matter who you put in front of Cotto causes chances are (win or lose) he puts on a great performance.

Clottey's speed looked fairly good against the Zab Judah. Obviously not as fast, but relatively good in comparison. Between Clottey and Cotto the speed edge is not in anyones favor they both have faster hands then regular boxers but not blindingly fast.

As in retirement? What I remember was Cotto wanting to fight Cintron or Berto but Arum was insistent on him fighting Jennings or not fighting at all until June when he was planning on a rematching Cotto with Margo.

2 of his last 3 fights have been gross mismatches. I'm not impressed by Cotto beating up on a limited fighter like Jennings.
