Bute.... he's lined up for the champion, supposedly Ward already, though he hasnt fought Froch. But i guess Ward's looking to delay this match-up? Bute is not to be under-estimated afterall? Where's the Bute haters now?
thanks, sounds like he's saying don't even try to lowball me. He wants to be paid if he wins the S6 he has every right to negotiate whatever he can.
Well, all of this is kind of moot. There's another thread that just cropped up in which Virgil Hunter states that Andre Ward and his team really, really, want another convincing win against Kessler after they face Froch (I thought the deck was stacked against Kessler in that fight; not really his night altogether similar to what happened to Berto, the ref actually thumbed Kessler's eye at one point), and that Bute is somewhere down the road, but they'd like to see how he fares against some of Ward's other super six competition. He also said Glenn Johnson was a step in the right direction, and that no-one could deny what an achievement it would be if he actually stopped Johnson.
Im pretty sure everyone is now aware that Hopkins is absolutely incapable of knocking anyone out over 160.
anyone see a potential ward - martinez down the road? ward isn't exactly a heavy hitter. i think it would be a good match.
After he wins S6 he will have a titanium plate transplanted under the skin of his forehead. After the surgery, weighing 180 pounds on fightnight, he will beat Vitklit via TKO and instantly become the greatest of all times
