Best or most clever punch you have seen?

Totally remember that shot. It was one thing to bring the shot from behind his back and land it, but he also dropped the guy.

Got to admit, that's a good one for this discussion. It's hard to pick "one punch." But this one certainly deserves mention.

 

No, that is not what this thread is about. It's about "the most clever punch you have seen".

If it were about May's check left against Hatton, the thread title would have been: May's check left hook against Hatton was the most clever punch I've ever seen

The one that stands out for me is:

Vernon Forest was fighting a tune up (after his shoulder surgery) and he faked a left jab, got his man to react, then pulled the jab back and threw a perfect right cross down the middle, then followed it with a sort of power jab to finish off the sequence.

His opponent was overmatched so I don't think it will go down in the annals of boxing lore, but I thought it was clever as hell.

 

I think it was like the 7th round in the cotto Mayweather fight where cotto caught floyd with a great weird angle punch after throwing a combination. Floyd def wasn't expecting it

 

Even more impressive was it not only put the guy down, it knocked him out

It's old but I like Kelley with one eye switching to southpaw for a instant throwing a overhead left and KOing Gainer.

Botha was winning the fight and on top of that was taunting Tyson, talking to him and making fun of him.

Say Tyson points to Bothas chin and says 'ok, watch this' and then knocks Botha spark out with his next punch you
