During the Beginning of the fourth Pacquiao Vs. Marquez fight I said Marquez was going to Knock Pacquiao out.

I also said that Victor Ortiz would make a rookie mistake against Floyd and lose the fight because Victor is so young.

    Not the best but ...
Garcia over Khan.. Nobody gave flat footed Swifty a chance against Khan who was highly regarded at the time.

Alverado over Rios II.. Pretty much everybody expected the same result but i knew Mike was going to make adjustments and Rois was going to come in lackadaisical.

Well the biggest odds winner I had was Prescott beating Khan.

I don't often gamble on boxing because the odds are quite poor but Prescott was 9/1 to win by any method and I steamed in.

I remember watching the live broadcast and they went to the dressing rooms to see them warming up and Prescott was hitting the pads and right at that second I started counting my winnings LOL

It was a great night, I won money and Khan was battered, it don't get much better as a British boxing fan.

    honeyghan v curry

watched curry beat colin jones in the uk
he was ranked p4p no1 in the world
but he was a very methodical fighter/ stayed in 1 place a lot using very good skills of just shifting off a bit and countering.

he beat rival champ milton mccrory by ko in 2 destroying him and at the time everyone thought he was unbeatable at welter the number 1 figther in the world

then honeyghan who i had followed from near the begginging of his career

he beat ultra tough kostas petrou / early on then fought giafranco rosi the future light middleweight world champ in italy or the european title and won by ko in 3

anybody of an age would remember that british fighters always either lost on points/stopped or were dq when they fought in italy / it was the graveyard of british fighters at the time 70`s and 80s .

then he came back and fought challenger roger stafford from america for the number 1 slot to curry and knocked him out with a single pounch in the 8th
stafford was crablike and average though.

then he fought sylvester mittee a fight i went to
mittee former british champ at light welter and honeyghan for euro title and number 1 slot
honeyghan little to big for mittee and won second half of fight 8th i think.

just felt going into the honeyghan v curry fight / curry used to fighting slower or more cautious fighters honeyghan would give him a real test/ i thought it was 50 / 50 when i am guessing the oddsmakers had it big to curry

honeyghans fast hands/ no respect/ buzzsaw switching it up combos and power left curry befuddled /
not able to cope with the honeyghan style that he had then .
currys corner pulled him out after 6

at the time it was probably the best ever uk boxer win in a title fight in america .
