Who do you think it was?

The best athlete I've seen was Roy Jones Jr. He had it all ... Strength, power, speed, agility, movement, coordination, endurance, stamina ... Could really run and jump as well as we've seen on the basketball court.

Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Ray Leonard, Ray Robinson and other are up there as well.

I believe Ben Johnson had amateur fights, so that is a good starting point...

Do you mean who had the most physical/athletic gifts that they could successfully use in the ring? Roy Jones would also be the first to come to mind with all those attributes you named.

There’s other boxers who were more proven in other sports before trying boxing. Before attempting to box, Ed ‘Too Tall’ Jones was a Pro Bowl NFL player and originally went to college on a basketball scholarship. Mark Gastineau and Alonzo Highsmith boxed after their NFL careers. Michael Grant was a star HS athlete in multiple sports. But none of these guys were able to apply their athleticism in the ring like the top boxers do.
