Opinions from past champs including: Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, Floyd Patterson, Jack Sharkey, Joe Walcott and Rocky Marciano. I thought this was sort of interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgYnxN-yqZU
I think the most obvious and deserving answer is SUGAR RAY ROBINSON!! :bbb :hat :happy :good :thumbsup the man fought over 200 times...:deal
So did Willie Pep and many other old timers. I agree and I think most others do as well. I thought it was interesting because at the time this was filmes like over 30 years ago. The views have not changed since then.
In all seriousness mate, it isn't. Calzaghe has never lost, he simply doesn't know how to lose. Calzaghe is the single mosty effective boxer in history in my opinion.
Do I detect some British nuthuggery? Thats like all these NY guidos that live here in the states that claim that Marciano is the GOAT. Deluded, nationalistic and racist fanboyism at its best folks. Slappy Joe is the GOAT?....you should be slapped for even saying that.
If Calzaghe had fought as often and the level of competition that the real ATG's did, he would no longer be undefeated. You guys are just as silly as the Mayweather groupies.
atsch :verysad :think atsch :rofl :deal atsch :verysad .....idiots. Got a gift decision against a 43 year old Hopkins and you guys think he's the GOAT. Unbelievable...you guys can't be older than 22.
Joan Guzman is the current P4P number one. I am not biased. I don't actually know what nationality I am myself to be biased. Calzaghe is not the greatest ever. He lacks the legacy to an exent, but is a solid top 20er all time. P4P though he is one of the few fighters who can be considered the best ever in terms of actual ability in the ring.
If you think having a bad performance against a well known fighter, then Nobody cares what you say dude.
