As for this....this doesn't take into account PBF winning out. If he beats Hatton, a prime and ranked P4P fighter, it will be a better win IMO than anything Pacquiao has done in years. And if he beats Cotto, who is young and prime, it far more impressive than beating JMM at the time they fight, who is not old, but he is starting to fade.

Hatton is NOT a great pressure fighter, he's a rough housing swarmer who is EXTREMELY overrated. The way he comes in head first is tailor made for Mayweather to eat him alive.

He has only decent technical skills and is not exceptionally accurate, not exceptionally fast and his best strength is inside fighting, to which he lacks the ability to get inside on Mayweather effectively, which Mayweather and camp have known that for a long time.

Mayweather's style advantage over Hatton is tremendous, which is why they sought after Hatton instead of the more dangerous and live WW's.

If Floyd doesn't fight Cotto after Hatton, then his reputation deserves to be stained. Floyd's resume is a good one, but for the praise he gets, such as calling him a top 40 ATG, it's not on that level yet and he's not seemingly making the strives to get to that level.

Again, Hatton is not an honourable fight for any 'WW champ' to specifically seek out, considering what Hatton has proved to be overall since the Tszyu victory and considering how Hatton faired against a B level natural Welter, who is of a more counter punching style, and who cought him wide open many times.

This fight is a joke, it'll be one sided and Hatton gets stopped around round 9.

Cotto WILL defeat Mayweather if the fight is made, but I highly doubt it, Floyd's become nothing more than a comfort zone ****, it's pathetic not so much that it's a shock, but that he's boxing's 'celebrated' most skilled fighter and P4P #1.

If he beats Cotto, then yes, he will have deserved a high ATG ranking, but he'd have to face Cotto for this to happen, to which he has expressed no intention of doing so. He only wishes to fight guys he can easily beat these days and doesn't want anything to do with what would be an extremely hard fought fight.

The dance vs. DLH and easy destruction of Hatton does little for his resume, because Hatton in all reality is not a true P4P talent, and should not be ranked in the top 10 these days considering his performances after the Tszyu fight.

By no means is Hatton a great pressure technition like a prime JL Castillo, or now Cotto. Hatton is quite nothing more than a B level guy who uses a rough style at the top level to make up for it(only works when he is not at a size and style disadvantage however), just like John Ruiz in all honesty. And he's made to order for Floyd.

Amsterdam calls these fights how he sees them, and gets most of these big fights right. He's picked Calzaghe over Lacy, Hatton over Castillo, Hopkins over Wright, Pavlik over Taylor, Pacquiao over Barrera, Cotto over Mosley, and Calzaghe over Kessler. But on top of that, he gives excellent analysis.

Does your head say Hatton will beat Mayweather? Or is that a pick with your heart? Because when you really look at this fight, it has a Mayweather victory written all over it.

How's he going to beat Floyd genius?

    Let's see here -

    * Floyd had the styles advantage, Hatton is terrible against slick counter punchers, Floyd being the worst for him due to Floyd's accuracy and timing.

    * Floyd has the speed advantage, movement advantage, extremely skill advantage.

    * Hatton's open to every shot in Floyd's arsenal when coming forward and lacks the jab and effective guard from the outside to get inside and actually do work there.

    * Hatton's giving up height, reach and general size, which is bad for him.

How does he win? He's not a technical pressure fighter, not the type that spoils Floyd's style. He's a come forward, rough housing swarmer, who's made for Floyd.

Mayweather only got the Ring Mag number 1 after Hopkins and Tszyu lost theirs fights 2 years ago, hardly makes him the best of the decade unless he does something special in the next few years. The hype the Americans put on their better fighters is extreme when you look at it from the outside.

    :nod

And to be honest, a past prime Morales and Barrera are still better in skill and ability than Ricky Hatton, who's done **** all except show the B level that he is since winning over Tszyu.

In which, the fashion he won over Tszyu is controversial and over discussed.:yep

It's a terrible opponent at this point, two years ago it would have been a great fight, due to where Floyd stood in his career(note that at 140 of all the names he fought Gatti for the money and ease also:lol:). At this point he's the WW champion of the world, P4P #1 and a superstar.

Where does Hatton fit in the WW mix? Floyd's a FULL GROWN WW at this point, he's filled in perfectly and packs a better punch now than he did at 140.

Hatton however has shown nothing since his Tszyu victory, he's shown immense flaws and will always be troubled by any slick counter puncher, such as Junior Witter, i'd easily pick Witter to **** up Ricky Hatton.

For Floyd to take Hatton with all of the WW choices shows that he's a comfort zone, cherry picking **** that only wants to fight names and not real challenges, Cotto-Williams-Cintron would all be a bigger challenge to Floyd than Hatton and Cotto would ****ing smash him, so that's where it stands and Floyd being a relatively smart guy knows this and so does his team.

I guess the average fan thinks that Floyd-Hatton is some kind of real fight, in reality, it's Hatton cashing out and Floyd looking good vs. a name that has no shot in hell against him.

Hatton will not win a single round and will be ****ED UP fast, then stopped about round 9.

you know **** all about hatton, you've seen him fight 5 times when he has fought 43 times. i had to deal with ignorant ****s like you before he knocked the **** out of kostya tyszu.

hatton's stamina is phenominal, he averages 25 more punches a round than pbf. you judge him on the only bad fight of his career against collazo when there was numerous excuses for his performance that night.

hatton is gonna swarm pbf, he's gonna take him out of his rythme, out of his comfort zone and force him to fight at a pace that he cannot deal with. floyd fights in bursts during a round = that aint gonna be gd enough in this fight - i assure you.

and btw, tell your cocksuckin friend above you that i have been on this forum a month and only predicted 3 fights, calzaghe to beat kessler, haye to beat mccormick, cotto to beat mosley.

added to that i knew without a shadow of a doubt that calzaghe would box the ears off of lacy, and that lewis would bang the **** out of holyfield and tyson.

when it comes to british boxers i get the balanced picture because i've followed them all of there careers as well as there world class american opponents. the problem with people like you and your gay buddy is that you have seen all the fights of your american fighter but very few of your opponent.

come dec 9th i will remember your ignorance.

Chill man. Calm down. I want Ricky to KO Mayweather too. Brooklyn is a Hatton fan too. But I dont think Ricky will win. No need to go overboard, they are just saying what they think.
