best performance by a aussie fighter last 5 years?

Geale vs Mundine II was probably the best of that lot. Very commanding win by Geale.

Mundine vs Rabchenko was a very entertaining fight though.

Geale vs Mundine I was five and a half years ago.

 

Of that lot I'd go for Geale over Sturm, even if only for the fact its in Germany.
That aside I'd throw in Katsidis over Kevin Mitchell...

My personal favourite (if u want to class as Aust) I'd say Darchynian over Tommy Rojas.... Thought Darchynian over Mijares was super impresive however that was late 08, early 09 from memory.

Dont know if I'd say it was the best win, I was pleasently suprised and impressed by Mundine over Rab*****o...

Getting in before anyone else, please dont mention La Porte against Trout

 

Gotta throw Leapi over Boystov in there.. As shocking as Boystov was, Leapi went over as the opponent n came back with Heavyweight title shot...

Prob get laughed at by most other countries considering winning a title eliminator as one of best wins however as much as it hurts to day, this is Aussie fighters we are talking about...

We are really lucky to have more than 5 world class fighters at a time...
More the years go on the more I wish we had giys like Fenech n Harding coming thru...

For all they achieved, cant think of a Bika or Dib performence to mention...
Cant really think of anyone else at the moment...

I'd even rate what Peadon did above most of what Aussies done on world stage recently...

Fair argument too, Great effort to to to Germany however I chose Geale due to my feeling he beat a slightly better version of Sturm, was 1st to do it in Germany and was a unification fight...

Still a great effort by Soliman no doubt.....
