The best I've seen is Tyrell Biggs fight Jeff Simms with a broken collarbone and only his left hand working from the 2nd round onwards. This was back in 1986.
The fight is actually up on youtube, just type in "Tyrell Biggs Jeff Simms" (Biggs' brother has uploaded it, and it's a "must-see" fight). Biggs makes it look easy at times against a decent and very dangerous opponent.

Danny Williams against Mark Potter deserves a mention. His arm becomes disalocated at the shoulder sometime during the fight and hangs limply, making Williams look horribly vulnerable (not to mention the pain), so Williams pull out the KO with lefts only.

Any other examples of courageous one-armed heroics ?

James "Buddy" McGirt Vs. Pernell Whitaker.
McGirt basicly fought the entire fight One-armed
having injured himself during sparring leading up to his fight with Pea.

It was going to be McGirt's biggest payday (1 MIll) so he could not pass it up.
(Not taking anything away from's Pea's win, Pernell did what he had to)

Hopkin's systematically dissecting Echols with one arm and stopping him late after going 12 with him.

    Beautiful stuff.

Holmes with the torn bicep versus Norton was outstanding.

I thought Holmes was throwing lefts and right hands until the end against Norton, so it doesn't come to mind as a "one-armed" performance by any means, for me anyway.
Then again, maybe I'm mis-remembering the fight.

I have no clue WTF happened to Tyrell Biggs............. Biggs had size, speed, athletic ability, etc......... And, his Coke use was NOT as bad as some people claim and whine about......... Ty Biggs usually looked in-shape and capable of going 15 rds, if not tagged on his jaw........

Tyrell Biggs folded like a lawn chain against Tyson in '87, and that loss took a lot out of him....... Biggs came back afterward, but never to the avail or level he was at in 1986....... The early 1990s KO loss to Lenny Lewis forced me to lose all interest in Biggs.....

Mayweather against Chavez deserves a mention.
Frazier was pretty much blind in one eye throughout his career.
Abraham beating Miranda with a broken jaw.

Hearns fought Benitez after round 6 or so with a popped knuckle in his right paw..... Hearns basically jabbed and hooked his way to victory of a passive Benitez who looked bored shitless in 1982.........

John Conteh decisioning Yaqui Lopez in his defense of his portion of the lightheavy title in '75 I think...his chronically injured right hand was at it again and he did a virtuouso paint job on Lopez for 15 rounds.

Considering how vaunted his hook was, the damage he did to Sharkey with his right alone was incredible in this one, and indicates how seriously Ernest Roeber injured his left arm with that medicine ball prank. After 25 rounds, that good right arm had Sharkey fading.
