Even shot fighter can put together a decent performance against the right opponent. Ali-Spinks II was impressive because he managed to regain the title and did show flashes of his former self. Jones-Lacy was a good shot performance, actually it could be considered a double-shot performance given Lacy was also shot. For me, Ali may have the best one, given that he was already showing signs of Parkinsons, he really overcame a lot and dug deep to get the job done.

    From genuinely

fighters, the best performances I can think of were
    This content is protected
vs Jeff Lacy (a performance which was enabled by Lacy being a declined version of an already mediocre fighter) and
    This content is protected
    vs Nikolay Valuev.

There's going to be so many posts on this thread featuring fighters that aren't even close to being properly shot.

Morales vs Maidana had me going mental at the screen willing Erik to knock him out, I was so happy to see that fight not become a mis match.

If we're counting Morales-Maidana, we have to include Arce-Vazquez as well.

The jury is out on just how shot Morales or Arce actually were (although the evidence was considerable; both had looked like complete **** for a long time, and there was the easily pointed to cause of how many wars they'd been in to be far older in ring years than their actual age)

Dela Hoya vs mayweather was respectable. Although you may debate on whether Oscar was shot or just past prime

Didn't stop Pacquiao from fighting a weight drained crackhead version of him and having *******s claim it was the best fight ever.

    Anyways:

Barret-Tua I and II. Monte is done but went out on his shield both times.

Its hard to say Morales is a genuinely shot fighter, cause he never showed any visible signs of that and he can still pull the trigger, just normal ring wear, though hes clearly past his best.

Morales vs. Maidana was my favorite.
Holyfield vs. Valuev is a perfect example.
