    I think that was on of those rare cases where he looked like he aged as the fight progressed. I dont think he was shot but definately past it.

    Good one! I never thought about Arce. A shot fighter becoming the first Mexican to win a world title in four weight divisions from a young undefeated warrior.

    You're mixing up shot and passed prime. Oscar was definitely not shot. He was definitely passed his prime, though. Passed prime fighters have put on great performances many times, but this thread is about shot fighters. There's a big difference, so it's much more than just splitting hairs.

    Honorable mention considering the eye fiasco. I wouldn't say he was shot, but the eye definitely gives him some points.

    I don't think most of the examples given are with "shot" fighters. Shot fighters are like RJJ and Mosley now.

    Morales isn't shot, he is just past his best. Morales will no doubt give Lucas Matthysse a good fight.
