Pales in comparison but remember when Nath Sting dominated and stopped that Brit..I think Johnny Armour was his name.

Picked up the WBU title and a lot of people were touting this bloke as a pretty decent fighter so it was a bit of an upset.

I think Fenech vs Azumah 1 has to be up there. Even though he didn't get the decision it was the performance that sealed him as an International Hall of Famer for many.

Also Barry Michael vs Al Earthquake Carter was mindblowing.

    For Me

    Tszyu beating Gonzalez in Florida

    Rose beating Harada in Tokyo

    Sands beating Olsen in Chicago

Fenech BUll**** Draw against Nelson in Vegas

    Darcy beating McGoorty in Sydney

Harding beating Andries in New Jersey

    Briggs beating Kelly in Sydney

    Green beating Lucas in Canada

    Mundine beating Green in Sydney

Mundine Sr beating Griffith in France

Even though it was a loss
Ron Richards losing a close fight with Archie Moore in Sydney Great perfomance and should be a consideration on here. It was Archie Moore and he was so close you could taste it.

Vic Patrick beating Burns in Sydney

Peden KOing Nate Campbell in the USA (UNderated perfomance)

    Green over Lucas was good.

But of ocurse Mundine over Green was really good. It was perhaps Mundine's finest moment.

I think Mundine might say his first paper world title against Echols was his best win......you know when he cired like a baby after.

I would say that while the Green fight with the build up and the huge crowd was great....I think Mundines best win was against soliman for another paper title....he just smashed him all over the ring.

Lets get serious u blokes..... u don't necessarily have to win the fight to get the prize.

Troy Waters v Terrible Terry Norris at his peak is hard to beat, they stopped it on cuts after 3rds but its as the heading states " best performance by an Aussie fighter ...ever" The editing is something else. Do u guys think Mundine can take punishment like this? i think not.

    Good point Kel.

I was going to say Hector Thompson going 8 rounds with perhaps the greatest speciman of fighter ever in a prime lightweight Duran, deserved a mention.

Kevin "Bones" Kelly vs David Reid. World Super Welter Title. Very unlucky not to win it. Dropped Reid in the 5th and hurt him in the 12th.

Along the same lines Paul Ferreri's effort against another all-time-great in Carlos Zarate was noteworthy.

Zarate went into this world bantam title defence undefeated with a 42 wins (41 by KO) record. Ferreri's record wasn't that shabby either at 50-3-5.

Ferreri pushed Zarate all the way and only a cut eye in the 12th stopped him going the full 15 rounds. None of Zarate's 42 other opponents had ever gone more than 10 rounds with him before.
