Vilomar Fernandez accounted himself well against Duran, and held his own until the later rounds, at which point Duran took over and overwhelmed him. But still, it was a great performance by Fernandez in a losing effort.

The fight that came to mind for me was Whitaker vs. Tito. Outgunned and a shell of himself, in against a killer, but he was crafty enough to last the distance and earn even more respect than he already had throughout his career

Starling vs Nunn, Byrd vs Mccline, Foster vs Ali, Qawi vs Foreman, Chocolatito vs Yafai

 

Just recently it’s been Sergiy Derevyanchenko against Jermall Charlo. Outgunned by size, power, and reach, not to mention that he was never gonna win if it went the distance, but still gave a hell of a performance.
