Manny Pacquiao absolutely demolishing Antonio Margarito over twelve rounds and doing permanent damage to Tony's eye was God-level dominance, especially considering how much Margarito towered over Manny. I'll put Nigel Benn's comeback performance over Gerald McClellan on here as well, despite the aftermath. Benn came back from literally getting knocked out of the ring within thirty second of the fight and being down on the scorecards to knock out McClellan in the tenth.
The best ever. Jumped up two weight classes, a 3 year lay off and was fond of the cocaine the time he was retired. Unreal
Rigondeaux vs Donaire, minus the knockdown in round 10. But it was crazy impressive to see someone shut Donaire down like that.
In terms of boxing displays? Recent ones Usyk Gassiev, Calzaghe Lacy, Pirog Jacobs, Hopkins Pavlik, Rigo Donaire, Loma Russell/Linares..
Floyd after Cotto was like: no way that guy from flyweight stopping Oscar, Hatton and Cotto.... Didnt want anything to do with that superhuman. Always a shame they didnt fight next in 2010. It would have been truly awesome rather than the joke we got years later.
Mayweather vs Brusseles, the non enthusiastic Larry merchant said "alright, Floyd's putting in a virtuouso type performance." That's all you need to know! After the fight Floyd said "he was hungry, the best p4p under 154 lbs " and he meant it. What happened is they threw in old Henry instead of Miguel Cotto to "see what he could do first for the team of pr boxers at the time" (he was a stable mate of cottos) and so on and so forth.
