Footspeed, handspeed, lateral movement James has still got it all. Also notice how he moves his eyes once his younger more game opponent moves away from him, fantastic stuff.

    Foreman - Moorer
    Hopkins - Pascal
    Those two spring to mind.

Hopkins-Pavlik. That **** was insane. Pavlik was 5-1 on at one point going in.

^^^^ Agreed with McGrain (Like most times actually)

Pavlik was regarded as one of the top offensive forces in Boxing, where as Bernard Hopkins was finally thought to be showing his age following the Calzaghe fight.

B-Hop totally blunts Pavlik and ends up landing combinations and showing off. He then stands on the ring apron and stares out every member of the media to make his point.

Just rewatched that. He basically called out the whole media for doubting him. Dawson fight aside Hopkins just keeps turning the clock back. Can he do it one more time?

The press was dead set against Hopkins before this fight. People called him old, slow, "a fighter that no longer boxed to win" and quite a few press guys were predicting KO's.

What was interesting was that a lot of fighters were picking Hopkins.

But yeah, basically 9/10 people were predicting a Pavlik win. I picked Pavlik too, but wrote that "he would have to improve to win". Pavlik had been improving with every fight though, and I genuinely expected to see it.

    Bone-chilling stuff.
