I didn't say worse, I said hopeless and painful. LaMotta would stand right in front of him, make him miss most shots and laugh off the ones he didn't. He'd punish the body and froce Trinidad back. Tito's left hook wouldn't do **** vs LaMotta.

While I really admire Felix Tito Trinidad I do believe his best weight was at 154 lbs, he took an awful beating from Bernard Hopkins. Going up he may suffer the same fate, these 160 lb greats could take and deliver harder blows, many had iron chins. Tito did not have an iron chin although he always rose to the occasion to win so to speak.

I never felt Trinidad was that good in terms of boxing ability but he had a trusty left hook he could land quite well and with good accuracy unless faced with movers and smarties like Wright or Hopkins.

He destroyed poor Vargas's balls using his secret island technique of ringing the bell when in trouble more than once , an overachiever in my opinion relative to his abilities.

Well not sure how much power Felix had at Middle weight. A fight between him and Hearns would be possibly a Barkley type upset. But as I say, not sure he had that type of punch at Middle.

A slow flat-footed brute. Trinidad would manhandle him.

I’m thinking of Barkley, he’s the perfect style for Trinidad, he’s gonna stand in front of him, and Trinidad had great punch selection in combinations and has precision, bad news for Barkley.

He’d beat Barkley to the punch in the trades and would be able to counter him, he has the much quicker hands and Barkley is a sitting duck for the combinations.

Trinidad also was better at range, he could use the jab well to set up the opponents and get them into a position where he can land devastating combinations, especially the uppercut and bodyshots against Barkley.

Trinidad would get the better at all ranges, he’s quicker and more precise, and he hits more than hard enough to hurt Barkley.

Trinidad either beats Barkley down to a decision or he ends up stopping Barkley because he’s dishing out too much punishment.

Tito would have gotten to hands at his waist Martinez. That crap might work with Chavez Jr, not Trinidad.

What about Nino Benevenuti? How's that match look? Nino was sort of a Jr middle fighting at middle.

He had power at Middleweight. Tito wasn't that small at 160. Bernard Hopkins was a very big 160lber who had an airtight defense and a very tough chin.
Trinidad fought two other middleweights Joppy and Cherifi who had been beltholders. Trinidad's power was a factor in both of those fights.

I think Trinidad would surprise some people at 160. Not saying he would beat the best guys but he would pull some upsets.
