I loved the bomber as well. Mate of mine had a building firm and he came for a job a while back. Such a shame a talented bloke like him couldnt make enough money
I agree. Too many hangers on as well. Naz could've been better but at the end of the day he just wasn't good enough to be a great. He was made to look so clumsy against Kelly and MAB. He was all over the place. To be honest you could see it coming as he stepped up in competition. Flaws were starting to show in his style way before Kelly. All the ATG's as well as being talented and athletic are/were also well drilled technically. The guys who stay elite for years (Duran, Hopkins, Mayweather) are technically outstanding. Naz was technically terrible. As you say it's the Ingle style. It's so open to counters, eg - Graham vs Jackson.
shame he had ATG power in his punches and he had shots only others dreamed about, but it goes to show if you cant master the basics then you will be found out by the best. I do honestly believe if he had changed trainers and kept the desire to box he would have been a great. For all his faults he was one of the best showman of all time
I love that, especially the commentary after the KO: 'The prince is for real! The prince is for real!' Great stuff.
