Mexican Julio Cesar Garcia taking on undefeated Troy Browning tonight on ESPN. This kid Garcia holds a record of 40-2. Already has more than 40 fights and is barely 20 years old.. And he is managed by the great Roberto Duran. This kid is the real deal folks. :deal
I've heard great things about this kid...never seen him in action, so I am interested to see how he performs, because it appears the guy who he is facing is a live body.
The guy (perez) in the first fight holds his hand like vicious the pro boxer. Garcia looks like a baby. over 40 fights wow
I have seen a couple of fights of him and he looks like the total package. Cotto-Garcia will be a huge fight in a couple of years.
I didnt see this one coming at all. Ive seen Garcia fight before. He is quicker than what he showed tonight and doesnt let his opponent breath. Garcia tonight was posing and looking like a Mexican version of Andre Dirrell. Duran better get the kid in check. :think
No it won't. Cotto will be at welter for awhile. In a couple of years he'll be at 154, tops. Garcia is a middleweight now, and will probably have ballooned to 175 by then. Not to mention Cotto is world class and Garcia, until he erases the memory of this performance, officially sucks. :good
He looked awfull tonight. Extremely slow with poor defense. Had Browning had some pop in his fists, Garcia would have been KO'd.
