I thought that wasn't necessary anymore. Didn't the Cubans "unban" pro boxing recently?

They unbanned it in the sense that Cuban amateurs are now able to compete in the WSB where they get paid to fight although I don't believe the fighters actually get money from it as for winning one fight you get 2500$. I think the average wage in Cuba Is like 200$ a month so this would make the boxers ridiculously wealthy by Cuban standards which wouldn't really fit in with the communist ethos of the country. The Cuban team is currently dominating the WSB and are very entertaining to watch. Ramirez, Julio de la Cruz , Lazaro Alvarez and erislandy Savon etc. are all amongst the boxers competing on the Cuban team

He did look class and his looked class in the WSB too where he is fighting on the 10th I think. He did lose his national championships this year so I don't think he will be representing Cuba is there are international championships this year

Beterbiev is a better prospect than mekhontsev in my opinion and ceylan is very limited

Nevin won't suit the pro game i feel Jason Quigley on the other hand is one to seriously watch future world champion without a doubt in my mind suits the pro game down to the ground also i reckon.
