Best Puerto Rican Boxer Of All Time?

    Here in P.R. everybody got different opinions, I asked my dad who he thinks is the best P.R. fighter of all time and he tell me without hesitation that it was Wilfredo Gomez. Not being from that era i had to search Youtube to watch a couple of his fights and Gomez was a beast.

    My favorite is Trinidad but thats just the era that i began to watch boxing, so i dont want to be biased, who you think is the best?:huh

    IMHO its gonna be a debate between Gomez and Benitez

    Most will say Tito or Gomez but I think its Benitez.

    I starte becoming a fan of Wilfredo Gomez recently and could not imagine choosing anyone else based on what I seen in his film.

    Benitez - Gomez is a real toss up.....I lean towards Benitez, he had much more potential but he lacked the discipline. I guess the tipping point is that I've spoken with him on a number of occasions...a super person.

    I can't give my opinion because like the thread starter I started watching boxing with "El Chapo" Rosario. My Father-in-law says Carlos Ortiz was a monster!
