Those were some big uppercut shots. They sounded like cannons. What an uppercut Lennox had, maybe the best in history. What a chin on Vitali, maybe best in history? The shot Vernon Forrest layed on my guy Mosley, it sounded like a paper bag popping. Real loud,a big shot and it shocked me, but SSM was able to survive it.

Zab completely leaned spinks in their 2nd fight. All spinks could do was stand there on a lean as he was out on his feet. Suprisingly he lasted about 20 more seconds before he was stopped

 

Lord have mercy, what a shot by Morrison. If Morrison could have had a better trainer and team around him, and waited to turn pro a little later, be a more mature guy discipline wise, he could have been greater. Dang. Great shot by Morrison! I like watching the crowd too, when there is a shot like that.

 

That's the one I thought of immediately.

 

Lennox had a sick uppercut, but Grant aside (when Lewis was holding), I don't remember too many of his uppercuts finishing or even dropping opponents. Maybe Fortune, I know Lewis had him a few times with the uppercut when he dropped him.

Uppercuts generally don't knock guys out (the left hook is the most common one punch KO because of the blind angle). Uppercuts usually do terrible damage in a series of shots, but rarely take a guy out by itself. There are some exceptions, but it's rare.

Maybe the neck helps absorb some of the impact.

 

The look on Ruddock's face when he get up was absolutely priceless!

 

Razor looked like he was unconscious and then the canvas woke him back up.

Actually, he looked like he had been shot with a pistol at first when he fell.

 

Yep:bbb Getting up from that monster shot and winning is the most impressive thing I think Holmes did in the ring.
