Wow, thanks. McCrory was no joke either. I always wanted SRL to fight Curry. Curry called him out several times to no avail.
they were supposedly gonna fight if curry had taken mccallum's 154 lb belt... we all know what happened then another ridiculous left hook [YT]bw3uYoQo74o[/YT]
Stanley Ketchel is regarded by far to most historians to be the hardest hitting P4P fighter then it's probably Bob Fitzsimmons. I have a survey of Ring magazine historians and rate Julian Jackson as the 27 hardest puncher all-time-not that great. These guys are right up there: Joe Gans Rocky Marciano George Foreman Jimmy Wilde
I love when people say composite puncher. I honestly don't think anyone in the world was saying it before I started saying it. Robinson has a claim. I have him at #4.
What is that suppose to mean really? Like the best accumulation puncher or the one that puts together the best combos or the one that has the best and most varied arsenal of punches?
Hardest puncher i would have to go with Shavers, P4P Dempsey, Cuevas was also a murderous puncher and would get my vote.
Based on the fact that he has the 2nd highest number of KO's ever, a lot of clean KO's, and the fact that he's a 5'8" natural welterweight, former lightweight, who clean KO'd the best heavyweights of his era.
