The fact Joe Calzaghe hasn't even made a list of about a dozen fighters means this poll loses all credibility

Agree. Calzaghe should at the very least be considered in the top 3 discussion. In my view, he is number one today.

Go watch B-Hop's destruction of Trinidad. Trinidad was the favorite in that fight and is a much better fighter than Lacy. Hopkins dismantled him, and unlike Calzaghe, he was able to finish him off; KO'ing him in the 12th.

Trinidad is a natural welter/light-middle while hopkins was a big Middleweight.

Should Joe Calzaghe be on that list?

Go on, tell me Spinks and Dawson are better "pure boxers"

They are. They are better pure boxers, better technique. Calzaghe is faster P4P of course, has WAY better handspeed and all but he doesn't have Spink's or Dawson's jab and defense. He got hit a lot by Kessler's big shots and took them because he got an iron chin.

Did you miss what Mayweather did to Corrales? Jones did to Toney? I am not going to argue the point, but both Toney and Corrales were more highly regarded than Lacy when they lost to their respective conquerors, and both were thoroughly beaten.
