Please tell me how this relates to my argument. The guy said he never seen anyone beat an undefeated fighter as badly as Calzaghe beat Lacy. He also mentioned how Calzaghe was the underdog. Was Trinidad not undefeated? Did he not get destroyed? Was Hopkins not the favorite?
Calzaghe beat Lacy worse than Jones beat Toney. However, I do agree that Corrales got beat worse than Lacy did.
Disagree. Especially considering Toney was #1 or #2 in the world at the time. Lacy's standing at the time gets exxagerrated quite a bit now. He was favored, but he was not considered a top 10 fighter at the time. The only way Jones could have beaten Toney worse would be to stop him. And that has never been done. I take into account the quality of the fighter when talking about who was beaten worse. Otherwise, Trinidad destroyed Reid in a fashion more devastating then all these guys. But its not mentioned because Reid wasn't great.
Where is Calzaghe? Not true -- he was a boxer-puncher at the lower weight classes in his early years. Now that he's moved up a handful of weight classes he's more of a pure boxer, because his power has (naturally) gone down.
I voted PBF of the choices, but to be fair JOan Guzman, Mijares, and Calzaghe should have been on the list.
