I think it comes down to Harry Greb Sam Langford Ezzard Charles Ted Kid Lewis Benny Leonard I'd say Greb, and I think I'm in the majority. But is there others that qualify? And who would pick?
Another vote for Greb Also B Leonard and Ted Kid Lewis doesn't deserve to be in the list imo. At least, I'd put guys like Tunney, Ray Leonard and McLarnin over him in terms of large scale names and wins. Perhaps Armstrong too.
I don't think Tunney's is that great, considering he beat Greb, Gibbons, and Dempsey when they were past it, though he should get bonus points for consistency.
I dont think Greb was past it until their 4th fight, especially since some believed Greb won the first 3 I will agree that he had very convenient timing
