Sup guys, first thread and stuff. Who do you think is the best guy who has hit the canvas and been able to come back into the fight without panicking or being pressured. Who do you remember who got up from their downings and managed to cope the best? Guys who may have been put down in their fights who found the ability to fight on and get the decision or knock out their opponent? inb4 a lot of Calzaghe responses. Even I will admit that guy was so able to fight back. Not in the terms that he could recover quickly, but kept his opponents at bay for the rest of the round by swinging madly and backing his opponent up, and the next round he was all business. I was more interested in fighters that were maybe handicapped by getting knocked down easily but could recover quickly and fight on. Any suggestions?
pavlik after being rocked by taylor i thought the fight was over i remember thinking we made it this far and now its over but pav came back in rd 3
...Thats the worst example ever man. Marquez gets up and recovers how? Getting knocked down twice more? The guy has a good chin and the ability to get up but he recovers after the rounds over, same with Calzaghe, s'not really what I'm talking about.
Marquez against Pac Malignaggi against Cotto Pavlik against Taylor 1 Froch against Taylor Corrales against Castillo Calzaghe against Jones and Hopkins
All good. Let me see if I can actually add something constructive. Ward - Gatti I R9. De La Hoya - Quartey R6. Kelly - Hamed R2&3 (?). Castillo - Corrales R10. Shavers - Lyle. Both of them, almost every round. Ketchel - Johnson. Ali - Wepner. :rofl
Also against Snipes. He nearly KOd himself on the ringpost getting up and had the ref seen it may have stopped the fight. Also Bowe did it well against Holy and Golota
Man its not even close...Who remembers Julio Gonzalez vs Julian Letterlough??? Letterlough hit Gonzalez with a WOW punch that put him flat on his back for about 7 seconds he popped up and actaully won the fight...Great fight to by the way, I believe there were like 5 or 6 kd's
