Everyone has the same reflex speed? So, anyone can be an Olympic medalist in athletics? (Athletics as in track and field).

So, my reaction time of .5 seconds is nothing special?

I see reflexes as the ability to react to your opponents punches and SPEED as your ability to deliver punches, not sure why, lol, just saying that is the way I think of it me brain,

so the difference for me is one that can deliver really fast punches with great SPEED may not be able to use that same speed to get out of the way of incoming punches because they have slower REFLEXEs than they do SPEED,,,

which really complicates the question of the entire SPEED/REFLEX question,,,

especially since many guys with great speed also have great reflexes,,,,

which basically confuses this question right out the window,

to me any guy that can react to another guy throwing punches and dodge those punches before they land has the best reflexes in my opinion,,,

Love him or hate him Floyd May's reflexes have always been top notch

lol at those saying Naz. His reflexes looked good against B level fighters but once he stepped up in class he was dominated and his reflexes weren't there. Certainly not best of all time worthy... better than average, yes; all time - definitely not.

I would say it's between Ali and RJJ, call them 1 and 1a with Floyd being number 2

All the great defensive wizzards used movement. Locche was able to stand stationary with his hands by his side on his knees and sometimes behind his back and remain unhittable. His reflexes were superior to anyone that ever pulled on a glove.

He had great reflexes. His style however was bound to be exposed by a technical boxer. The step up in class revealed his technical flaws, not issues with reflexes.
